Validated XHTML

This ensures that the code that we have used on this site validates against the W3C’s strict standard. Again, by validating our style sheets against the W3C gold standard, we can make our site accessible to everybody with a DDA compliant browser or other assistive technology.

All pages have been validated against standard using “Bobby.” This service allows us to test web pages and help expose and repair barriers to accessibility and encourage compliance with existing accessibility guidelines, such as Section 508 and the W3C’s WCAG.

All pages on this site use structured semantic markup. H2 tags are used for main titles, H3 tags for subtitles. For example, on this page, JAWS users can skip to the next section within the accessibility statement by pressing ALT+INSERT+3.

How to use access keys

Access keys work slightly differently depending on which browser and type of computer you are using – this is a summary of the main different ways:

• If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 4, 5, 6 and 7 on a PC, press ‘alt’ and the access key character at the same time, then press the enter key
• If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 on an Apple Macintosh, press ‘control’ and the access key character at the same time
• This accessibility initiative is also supported by Netscape 6; use the ‘alt’ key on a PC, or the ‘ctrl’ key on an Apple Macintosh

Navigation aids

All pages have rel=previous, next, up, and home links to aid navigation in text-only browsers. Opera, Netscape 6 and Mozilla users can also take advantage of this feature by selecting the View menu, Show/Hide, Site Navigation Bar, Show Only As Needed (or Show Always).

All content is presented first to every page, with a skip to navigation link. An Access Key is also available to ’skip to the start of the main content’.

The site contains a ‘Blank out link’ (access key Q). This feature jumps to a blank page and will stop all assistive technologies. This feature can be useful if you need to get off the site quickly!

Links

1. Many links have title attributes which describe the link in greater detail, unless the text of the link already fully describes the target. In JAW adjusting you verbose (insert + V) you can ensure JAWS reads all this information as well as the link. This is a helpful way to get familiar with the site navigation.
2. Links are written to make sense out of context.

Images

All content images used in this site include descriptive ALT attributes – limited to approximately 150 characters. Purely decorative graphics include null ALT attributes. This alternative text (alt-text) is generally only visible when the browser’s automatic image loading feature is turned off.

1. Complex images include LONGDESC attributes or inline descriptions to explain the significance of each image to non-visual users. All pictures of the models on this site have comprehensive descriptions for example in the meet the girls section the thumbnails contain a brief description, with the option to click the link to hear the full description. Due to the nature of the SoundsDirty.com site certain images are deem to be of great significance and may contain slightly longer descriptions.

Visual design

1. This site uses cascading style sheets for visual layout.
2. This site uses only relative font sizes, compatible with the user specified “text size” option in visual browsers. For a detailed overview of how to change font in your browsers please visit the ‘customize site’ link (access key U)
3. If your browser or browsing device does not support style sheets at all, the content of each page is still readable.
4. The site has the ability to quickly change the font and background color to a high contrast black and white page layout. This feature is recommended for partially sighted, dyslexic and color blind users.

Site functionality guide

All audio files on Soundsdirty.com are downloadable. By clicking on the link the audio file should in most cases, automatically open your default media player and start playing the media. Use your media player to save the files so you can enjoy them at your pleasure.

Home Page

The home page provides a quick overview of the site functionality and provides direct links to the feature or a free trial to enjoy.

The virtual tour allows you to listen to one of the SoundsDirty girls telling you her favorite bits of the site. Click on the link to download and sit back and relax as she talks you through SoundsDirty.com.

You can also register for the free chat room, enjoy a free sample of one of the SoundsDirty XXX Adult Films, available for all to enjoy in three formats, standard, subtitled and Audio Description. You can download free sex sounds, listen to a trial of our girls Erotica stories and get up close and personnel with hot adult pictures in our revolutionary Zoom Room.

Erotic Stories

In this section you can meet all the SoundsDirty girls. Each girl has a signed Polaroid photograph of herself, a text overview and an introductory trial audio. If you like what you hear you can visit their personal page by clicking the “view (girls name) profile” link.

The profile page has a large image viewer to see pictures of the girls that also provides long descriptions of the pictures. Under the large picture the thumbnails provide a brief overview of each larger image. These thumbnails contain short descriptions of each thumbnail picture. Chat Room

Register for free to gain access to the SoundsDirty.com Sex Chat Room. If you aren’t registered or logged in you will be redirected to the “register now” page. If you are already a member or have already registered please use the “login” functionality located under the left had side navigation panel or by using access key L. For users who aren’t yet registered, fill out the first page then you can click again on the Chat Room navigation key or press Access Key C.

The chat is design to be fully accessible whilst maintain the core functionality of a chat room. Users can move to different rooms or talk to friends in private chat areas. To ensure the chat room is available for all to enjoy the page as default is on manual refresh. This can be altered to you preferred refresh level.
